Try These Great Party Themes For Your Hens Night

By Sophia Evonne

A hens night should be an event the bride will never forget.

While you will need to pay particular attention to the evening agenda, you must also consider the hen party's dress for the night. By planning ahead, you'll ensure that everyone in your hens party is dressed the same and in keeping with the theme of the night. When you are all dressed alike, others are sure to see your party wherever you go and give it the attention it deserves.

If you're searching for a whimsical idea for your hens party, give it a masquerade theme. Have the girls dress up as though they are going to a masked ball. The bride-to-be can hide her identity and be as brazen as she wants during the night of fun and flirtatious activities. You don't need ball gowns to pull this costume theme off. Some concepts for a masquerade party include feathered and bejewelled masks, fun headdresses and even complicated rugs. Combine these with cocktail dresses, club wear, or formal clothes depending on your destinations for the evening.

For a theme that is wacky and exuberant, let her fave films set the scene for the night. This is a good way to mix a special moment for the bride with an entertaining theme for the hens night. Select her favorite childhood movie and dress up like princesses, or go with the horror flick her fiance ' made her see on their first date and dress as zombie bridesmaids. It is possible to get really creative and fun with this kind of theme. Just don't forget to let the bride play the main role as you pay homage to her favourite film during the night.

If the girls involved in your hens night are not quite up for all out get ups, you can still coordinate your attire with a wardrobe that's stylish and chic. Give everybody a color scheme to dress in so you clearly match and are recognizable as one party. A classy option is to have the bridesmaids dress in a black and bling with rhinestone heat transfers applied to the hens' shirts. The bride could do the same but perhaps dressed in a white t-shirt. You can coordinate your colors with the wedding, the bride's fave shades, or anything else that works. If the bride does not like to be the focus of attention, have the hens party dress as a bride so onlookers are left guessing who the special girl is.
